Corporate/Offices

We understand the importance of eye health and the complications that can arise from computer screens. So, we want to provide a service that allows you to be rest assured that the eyesight of your staff members is protected. Under the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992, it is obligatory for employers to provided eye examinations upon request. If the results show specific VDU glasses are needed, it is the responsibility of the employer to fund this.

As all our equipment is portable, we can conduct the eye tests at your place of work for your convenience. Your staff members will then have the option to select frames and lenses if needed. We are able to use coatings on the lenses that are specifically designed to minimise the amount of blue light that is absorbed by the eye. In turn, this will reduce eye strain and dry eyes etc.

Care Homes

When conducting an eye exam in a care home, our optometrists look closely at the residents lifestyle to offer the best options. We provide each resident with their very own Eyecare Handbook. This file contains notes of the exam as well as prescription and dispense details. Also included is a Lifestyle Questionnaire which helps our optometrists better understand the activities residents enjoy. These documents have been created in a simple format to ensure all those that have access to the handbook are able to understand the needs of the resident.
